the U is down 11-2 2 minutes into the game.

oh boy.

after cutting it to 15-14, 2 3's later its UF up 21-14 with 9 minutes left.

woo hoo!! down 32-30 at the half. robert hite is filthy, god damn. we're in this s***. speaking of s***, got to go outside real quick to pick some up before the football game starts.

The U shows again they own UF sports.

Which by default own FSU sports.

Miami wins 72-65.

This is the first UM b-ball game this year. Is UM really this good, or is UF that bad?

No it isn't, they've played before.

This is awesome.

Bleh, I meant to say first this year I've seen since I am up in G'ville so we don't get their games on Sun Shine.

OWNS UF SPORTS!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Top 5 in Sears Cup every year my friend.

UF is the mecca of athletic associations in the Southeast.

Was at the game, didn't notice hardly any Miami fans, but that's expected because:

A. Miami has a horrible fanbase.

B. Actually, Miami more than likely has the worst fanbase in the nation.

Miami lost to South Carolina State.

UF, when playing to it's potential would compete with UK for the SEC east.

The thing is, UF never plays to it's potential. Too soft.

Blah, it's still December.

but we won. :D

Yes, MIAMI won.

They still suck, and their fan following still sucks.

Like the Gainesville native Tom Petty once said,

Even the losers, get lucky sometimes.

but... :D

ACC>>>SEC

No argument there.

UF is still better than Miami though, don't kid yourself.

just to make things clear, im not taunting you or UF. im just excited about the win because i do geuinely like UM bball and this was huge for me after all the countless close games we blew last year and the way the guys played. amd yes i realize that we have a long way to go before catching up to florida.

I know you're not man...it's all good.

I'm not a jerk when it comes to UF sports either. Especially basketball because we never live up to expectations around here.

Miami has some good athletes on their team. I stated that in another thread. There's reason for excitement in some terms.

But still, in reference to another post, Miami needs to continually beat UF in b-ball before the programs can even be considered close.

And it's laughable to compare Miami's Athletics to UF's overall.

Great win for the UM program, they have some talent and are going in the right direction, but what the heck was Florida doing today, they have no business letting UM come onto their court and beat 'em....

:lol :lol :lol :lol

bitter?

you must be, since you're bitching about a team's lack of fans ON THE ROAD IN GAINESVILLE.

I'm not bitter one bit. UF's basketball team never lives up to expectations. Can't say it's not frustrating to watch though. Especially losing to an inferior team who lost to SC State at home...

Seriously, Miami's fanbase sucks.

FAU had more fans make the trip to Gainesville. And that was on a weeknight. It's expected though.
