July 8, 200323 yr Fox Sports Net and PAX.....Hey Len Casper and Tommy Hutton suck but at least its something I don't think they're bad at all actually.... Better than Dave Van Horn on the radio at least.....*shiver*.... Coma inducing. "bottom of the ninth 2 outs, Marlins down by 2 to Boston. Here's Mike Lowell. Hits a high drive. it's up up and away. [yawn] home run Marlins and they tie the game."

July 8, 200323 yr I, like anyone else who has heard a quality play by play guy, cannot stand Van Boring either. Nothing irritates me more than listening to a play develop in the background noise while he is silent, then hearing him do play by play 5 seconds after the play is over. For example, most times you can hear the batter make contact, hear the crowd goes wild and the fireworks go off in the background, then Van Boring starts in with his play by play. It's like he's calling the game while watching TV on satellite in Anchorage. And don't even bother to bring a radio to the game, he never calls the game in real time.

July 8, 200323 yr rofl Van Horn will be in the middle of a story... "so then Tommy Lasorda was managing the Dodgers and he always went to the bullpen at the exact time of... .. there's a hit to Alex Gonzalez, he turns the triple play. So Lasorda always went to the bullpen in the 8th inning but this time his closer was injured and he had to use his setup man...." "and one September the Expos were playing in Detroit and the temperature was negative 20 degrees, [sound of a ball crushed] and we couldn't get any of the equipment working in time.... Mike Lowell has just hit a ball...it's up up and away, grand slam Marlins win the pennant. ...so anyway, that was certainly the coldest weather I've done a game in before...."

LMFAO What's up with ripping on Vin...second best of the modern era behind Ernie Harwell.... "He stood there like a house by the side of the road and watched that one go by." Classic. Every time Von Boring uses that up up and away crap Boog should reach over and hit him across the face with a tire iron.

July 8, 200323 yr While we are at it.... Minnervini needs to be drug out into the street and shot too. Like I care that he's interviewing some 90 year old who made her way down from Apopka to sit in her $4 SEAT. The least he could do is interview the Marlin Mermaids or some hottie in the hot tubs once a game.
