December 7, 200421 yr wow IU got a player on the Big 10 Team... How Courtney Roby isnt in the top 30 is beyond me, he is sick
December 8, 200421 yr Michigan has to have one of the highest percentage of "successful" players ever in the NFL, at least from the Big 10. By that I mean being in the league as an active player for more than 3 yrs. It seems like alot of their QB's are drafted, even though they aren't spectacular in college. The most talented over the years, in my opinion, are the offensive linemen. I found on SportsLine a list of current Michigan players, but I would like to get a complete list starting around 1980 and make an "All-Star" team for the last 25 years. anyone know of such a list?
December 8, 200421 yr Author That set of 4 d linemen (2 from Iowa, 2 from Wisconsin) is RIDICULOUS... 629230[/snapback] Agreed... Very good. Though I like their picks overall (Tate and Ferentz), I think Babineaux or Roth deserved Defensive Player of the Year over James. Babs led the Big Ten in TFL and sacks. The group of LBs is also very good.. but I'd take Abdul Hodge over McGarigle. and yea, I'm a homer.
December 8, 200421 yr I don't know how Zook will do with Illinois, but Pierre Thomas is going to be an absolute monster next season with a competent coaching staff to utilize him.
