exactly...no one hates us cause they dont know about us, or think we are still bad...

maybe it is because people wanted to vote in the candidate that would help the NL team win the most. Jenkins is a power hitter and has been having a very good year. Luis, while having a pretty good year is not a power hitter like Jenkins.
