SuperBowl XLI (2007) is going to be at PPS...

Featured Replies

SuperBowl XLI is going to be at PPS 3 years from now. How exactly do people go about getting SuperBowl tickets? Do all the Dolphin season ticket holders get first dibs and then each team in the SuperBowl gets a certain amount?

How does it work?

I would think that the Dolphin season ticket holders dont get that much of a special treatment...it is the Super Bowl.

There is only one way to be able to purchase superbowl tickets aside from the scalper. And I am not telling because I want to win some already! I am 0 for 1. I lost this year. :plain

That's actually in 2 years.

You have to mail the NFL and they put you in a lottery. You win the lottery you are allowed to purchase two tickets. I put in for this year and lost and am putting in for next year, next month.

FHM or Stuff has a big write-up on it. If it's not online, I'll get it from mine.

thats what i figured, it works the same way for the final four (which i am 2 for 2 at)

Found it:

Here's how the seats are divvied up for Superbowl XXXIX.

13,205 seats for each conference champ (advertisers, local media, and other team interests get first dibs, fans get 70-80% of the rest)

24,766 every other team receives 854 tickets (most go to big spenders and remaining crap given to season ticket holders)

20,160 seats go to corporate sponsors, advertisers and politicians (only 500 fans, drawn in a raffle, get two tickets each)

3,894 host team receives about 5% of seats (staff and local media get first dibs and rest go to season ticket holders)

4,770 each NFL player gets two tickets as part of CBA (guys on the teams in the game are allowed to buy up to 15 tickets each)

haha, no wonder the atmosphere at every superbowl is absolutely terrible, bunch of sponsors, politicians, corporate big wigs, etc. nobody there cares about the game and could care less about which team actually wins.
