He's the ONLY QB ever, ever, ever, ever over the age of 35 to have 30+ TD and 4000 yds. passing in a single season.

This article may help put things into perspective just how good Brett really is (cough-Crag-cough)

If Brett plays 2 more years he'll have nearly every major QB record in the game. Favre up until this point has played with below average WR's who were made good by Brett Favre. Guys like Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman, Bill Schroeder, etc.

Tim Brown is one of, and Jerry Rice is the best WR of all time, does that mean they are good no! Hey Jim Brown was one of the greatest Running Backs of all time let's bring him back! Is Favre one of the Top 10 maybe 5 QB's of all time yes, is he one of the best QB's in the NFL no. No one is saying he wasnt a great QB he just isnt now!

Favre was 5th in QB rating in the NFC.

2nd in yards.

4th in Comp. %

3rd in TDs

What else do you want?

He was top 5 in all the major QB statistical categories.

Well ok maybe I am just used to him being so great in clutch time, but you got to agree with me on one thing, he has been a choker the past 4 years.

IF Farve played two more years the only records he has a chance at capturing are total passing touchdowns and total career wins. That's it that's all.

The only person that will ever challenge Marino's total yards record is Peyton Manning, and honestly I think it's doubtful he will take it.

Wild Card look at the other records Favre can and probably will get. And the ones he already has.

Like say the highest winning percentage of any NFL QB since 1950 for instance?

Or that little statistic of 3 MVP's which nobody's ever touched but him.

And the third will elude him for a while especially if his team doesnt get to the big bowl.

I like how the numbers from this year got ignored becasue they were factual.

Good job guys.

I agree with everything you said but why would a 3rd MVP elude Manning if he doesnt win the big one?

Who ignored them, I didnt, I said you were right, I gave you your props. What is factual is his team didnt win a playoff game, and he threw 4 picks in the playoff game!

I think voters will go away from him if he keeps throwing up such awesome numbers, why cant he win the Super Bowl? Thats what the mindset will be.

Because he has NO DEFENSE! Maybe he should go both ways though and play all 22 positions on the field!
