July 11, 200323 yr Odalis Perez is a very, VERY valuable young pitcher to have. Pitching is always more valuable than offense... Not if you're the dodgers. They have enough pitching to survive w/o Perez. But I would rather have a 26-year-old Perez than a 32-year-old (I think) Brian Giles.
July 11, 200323 yr There is no way anyone here can say that starting pitching is not the most important thing on the field. Sure you need a little offense, of which the dodgers have negative, but pitching is most important. Pitching and Defense wins championships.
