July 12, 200323 yr I think the adding of Urbina to the roster is a much needed help where we needed it the Closer position.Do u think this move was what we needed to make a true push at the wild card?? :blink:
July 12, 200323 yr coaches and management realized after blowing a game in chicago with pavano still in there in the 8th inning that a quality setup man was definately needed and if/when spoonman comes back it just makes the options even better. now if only one of our awful lefties can step it up...

I mentioned this about two days ago,that i get nervous when looper coms into the game,now we can have alittle confidence goin into the 9th with just a one run lead. to tell you the truth,todays victory and the deals that went down show a promising future for our marlins,and i think we're not only gonna push for the wild card...i think we're gonna win the damn thing!!! lets go fish,thats my boy Esko :w00t
July 12, 200323 yr Yea Loop is still gonna close games. Urbina will probaly be the Set up man and if Loop Fails they will switch...
July 12, 200323 yr This is great. Not only does it help the pen, but it helps the starters. You will never see a 140 pitch count again.
