2005 Florida Marlins TV Schedule

FSN and PAX will only air 141 games in 2005. Down from 2004's 150. FOX will air at least 4, so ESPN has to make up the slack with more selections. FSN and PAX could pick up games later on though.

I hate PAX. The picture and sound quality of their broadcasts is horrible compared to FSN.

That should change for 2005.

I always buy the MLB extra innings and the PAX games (everything that isnt fox sports) gets blacked out. I miss 1/3 of all the games cause of that.

I wrote both Bud Selig and the President of MLB Advanced Media about that issue and they wrote back and left a voice mail for me respectively, saying that they'd try to work that out. I'm sure people with MLB extra innings would be pleased to have the PAX games brought onto the package.

how do you get mlb extra innings?

I got it through my cable provider, Comcast. I think that DirectTV, Time Warner, and Dish Network also offer it among others. It's nice, but missing the PAX games sucks.

Since Pax has a Digital over the air signal are they going to televise any games in HD?

Doubtful, the games will be done in HD ebcause the truck is HD-capable, but the delivery of it in HD is difficult because the affiliates would have to do alot of work to decode and downconvert it.
