My Official 2003-2004 NFL Predictions!

Featured Replies

I watched that game, and everyone knows we fell apart because of Wanny's play calling. That's why the rumors of him leaving were floating around.

Last year we had not nearly as much depth at EVERY position, and not as much starting talent. You can't dismiss that fact that we have gained talent, experience, depth, ect. The only direction is up.

dude, we had it won! we had totally kicked their a** in the 1st half, and they CHOKED. it wasnt due to lack of depth, or whatever, they flatout CHOKED. bad coaching calls and a bad case of not knowing how to eat and CHOKING. :hanged

The Fins aren't gonna be as good as last year.

Oh so now they're going to go 8-8?

You're completely nuts if you think that they will somehow, in a bazzar twist they end up being worse. It's virtually impossible. I will personally call you god and worship every word if you're right.

In fact, I'll bet you any amount you name that Miami has a better record that 9-7. Name the price, and I'll lay it out.

so how much allowance do you get wc?

nah, i think the fins can win more than 9, and they should..... but another december choke job is waiting in the wings

in a bizzare twist like last years? thats really all that needs to be said.

God forbid it'll happen again and hopefully this will be our year, but it always happens.

2000-divisional playoffs

2001-wildcard game

2002- missed playoffs

so how much allowance do you get wc?

thats the main point we're all making. that right there says it all.

Actually I have a job thank you! lol

With the depth and starting talent this team now has, I would be extreamely dissappointed if they did not finish at or over 11-5.

Wild Card I never said they'd be as good as last year.

That was a Typo. Sorry its Fixed.

Notice how I've said about 30 times that they would be 9-7/10-6.

Look at my game by game prediction of Miami. They have a late season choke job waiting as Marlins02 has said... :hanged

so kinda like the NY Rangers?

Or the Mets?

No. Miami is almost a can't miss for the playoffs. They have just as much talent as any other team in the NFL on their roster. But their will be several other deciding factors that play rolls in it all.

My favorite quote on the Miami Dolphins:

"The Dolphins easily have enough talent to win the Super Bowl. They just have to make the playoffs first." - John Clayton

I don't like making excuses for Dolphins not making the playoffs but losing Jay Fiedler for six games was the cause and let me not get started on Ray Lucas.

Phulb: I'm up for it expect a PM from me soon ...

i hope its not the case, i want them to win but our history suggests it will. im trying not to set myself up for another massive dissapointment at the end of the season.

Yep, there so much of a can't miss for the playoffs, they missed them entirely last year! :lol :lol :lol

There's another prime example of you dreaming again. No offense man, your cool and all. But wake up.

Cool Minus! Give me a good time to call you tomorrow. And we can make sure we both understand the bet. This will be good! Me and Minus fighting it out!

Hopefully Green Bay goes 16-0 and Miami goes 15-1 so I get $31 :D

There's another prime example of you dreaming again. No offense man, your cool and all. But wake up. They had almost no recievers last season with Gadsden and Chambers out for periods of time. Now they are stacked with starters and depth at WR. Same at TE, same as QB, same as RB. The only place we don't have great starters/depth at is OL, and the starters are solid (obvously, with Ricky posting 1,800+) and they reserves aren't great, but aren't bad.

Defense wins championships anyways! :p

Miami should go 16-0 according to you...

and in fact, they shouldnt lose a single game

but they will.....

NY Rangers

than why didnt we win last year? not the offense, but... :hanged

Last time your defense won a championship was 72.

Lets look at the depth for Miamis Offense....

QB:

Brian Griese

Jay Fiedler

Sage Rosenfels

Grade: C+

RB:

Ricky Williams

Robert Edwards

Sedrick Irvin

Travis Minor

Charlie Rogers

Grade: A+

TE:

Randy McMichael

Marco Battaglia

Ed Perry

Lee Donald

Grade: B-

WR:

Chris Chambers

Orande Gadsden (did he re-sign)

James McKnight

Derrius Thompson

Robert Baker

Margin Hanks

Kendall Newson

Grade: B-

Average Grade: B-

You guys have good offensive depth at the skill positions, but nothing game breaking. And if you think your offense will even be half of what Green Bay or Minnesota has your nuts.

we got the talent. no team in the NFL is complete. our biggest problem is choking. talent doesnt solve that, COJONES is what solves that. (not sure about the spelling, but you get the idea)

Phlub, Michael Bennet is OUT FOR A WHILE...

But no one said Miami had an offense like Green Bay.

But Green Bay or the Vikes don't have a D like Miami, either...

  • Author

I know Michael Bennett is out. But I'm referring to in general over the past 10 years or so, nobody has had as consistently good of offenses as Green Bay and Minnesota.

And as long as we won a super bowl more recently then you, I really won't complain.

Yo Phlub .....

Your only 14?How am I suppost to make a wager with a 14 year old?

hmm

I don't know...
