February 23, 200521 yr Yeah saw that earlier today. Over looks good. 693113 That's retarded...I don't know who would go under on that.

February 23, 200521 yr Wager everything you own on the fact that the O's won't get 80.5 wins. 693116 No way, man. They signed a couple good free agents, and I am not entirely sure they'll get less than 80. The Marlins is the closest thing to a sure bet. 86 wins means 76 losses. You think we'll only end up 10 games over .500? rIIIIIIGHT
February 23, 200521 yr Twins at 90 seems a little high 693127 AL Central is up for grabs. Minny seems to always find a way to play good ball--90 is high, yes--but I think that's more a direct result of the crappiness of the other teams in the division

There is no way the O's finish with 81 wins at 500. The Marlins are two arm injuries away of finishing with 90 losses, if they are early on.

I think I'm omnimistic...if that's a word.

February 23, 200521 yr How much does this pay, I just put down 20 bucks on the Fish at 14 to 1 to win the Series, because my grandmother lives up in Vegas so I got her to go to one of the casinos. So I may have to get a little action in on this also, because 86 is not that high.
February 23, 200521 yr We probably would've won 86 last year, if not for all them hurricanes and what-not. And this year we're a better team. 86 looks mighty fine.

But for the over under, you are right. Ive always thought the boys at Las Vegas are so good at what they do. I believe the got the over/under on the Superbowl within 1 or 2 points. 86 wins is not as low a number of wins as some of you think. Thats a 92 win team having an unlucky season. Like phispan said, one arm injury and that might end up being the Marlins.
February 23, 200521 yr Twins at 90 seems a little high 693127 They have a really strong team and play in a weak division, I wouldn't be surprised to see them get to 94 wins with all the promising players getting starting jobs .
February 23, 200521 yr 86 is a pretty low number. all odds aside, the Marlins can definitely go over. Without the Hurricanes and injuries, the Marlins could have won that easily. Its not doing justice to the new team, but you cant have it all.

They are numbers they think they will get people to place bets on either side. Those who will pick the over for the Marlins will say: They are a better team than last year Phillies, Mets, Braves are all over rated Pitchers will stay healthy Those who will pick the under will say: Beckett hasn't stayed healthy in a long while, and if another starting pitcher gets hurt they could lose 90 games. The Phillies are healthy and the Mets are a better team, eating into some of last years wins. Only so many teams can finish with 86+ wins.
February 23, 200521 yr Twins at 90 seems a little high 693127 How about the Yanks even with RJ 102 is high I mean they are an RJ and Mariano Rivera away from 90 wins
February 24, 200521 yr Two days before the Marlins signed Delgado I bet on them at 15-1 for the N.L. and 3.15-1 for the East at an internet site hoping they would sign Carlos and I could get better odds. They are now down to 15-2 for the N.L. but their N.L. East line hasn't moved at all. Interestingly enough, they play alot on the sentiments of dumb New Yorkers and have the Mets at 7-1 for the N.L. pennant and have them and the Braves as co-favorites for the N.L. East at 2.75-1, even though the Braves are 11-2 for the N.L. The Cubs are currently this casino's N.L. favorite at 9-2 with St. Louis second at 5-1 and the Braves third at 11-2. The Yanks are the A.L faves at 3-2 followed by the Red Sox, Angels, Twins, and A's.
