February 24, 200521 yr Wow.. that PhishPhan is a first class a-hole, eh?? I would love to see Leiter on Opening Day. He's one of my favorite all time Marlin pitchers. Not only cause he's a nice guy, but he put up some good numbers when he was with us his first time around. I think he'll be great once again this season. His home park is pitcher friendly and he's got much better defense than he's had the past 7 years. I agree that Beckett would really benefit from pitching in the 3 hole... He wouldn't be facing all the aces (at least for the first month or so). If he stays healthy,? he can rack up a bunch of wins. My rotation would go... Leiter Burnett Becket Willis Valdez I know that doesn't give us the lefty/righty thing all the way down, but I think that's overrated anyways. 694392 I think you make great points...But I do think the lefty/right rotation is a plus. In a 3-game series, you can use it to your advantage. That might make some teams substitute players to accomodate for the pitching matchup. 694405 I agree...you really need to keep the lefty/righty combo in place...winning games overrides tradition and all that other BS...don't worry about this Jack - will do the right thing. :notworthy

February 25, 200521 yr I vote for our 03 WS MVP to be our starter. 694324 Who? The guy that has a 2 and 6 record against the Braves in the past 3 years? Great!!! I am all for it
