ACC Tournament Thread

In Progress: Clemson 39, Terps 36 (Halftime) on ESPN FC and Raycom JP (Not available in South Florida)

Next Game: FSU vs. NC State

Tonight: the U vs. UVA

Maryland obviously can't afford to lose that one. Or they'll go the way of the Irish.

Meanwhile, in the Big East BC is doing everything they can to hold on to a possible #2 seed. They were down by 22 at halftime, but they're working their way back in it.

On the other hand, if you have to struggle this much against W. Virginia, it doesn't look good for you down the road.

Looks like BC is going down. Cut the lead from 25 to 4, with about 4 minutes left, but West Virginia made the plays down the stretch.

Maryland is going down, too. 2nd loss to Clemson in about 4 weeks. I would have to say that Maryland isn't even on the bubble any more.

West Viriginia is now a slam dunk to make the tourney.

Boston College has played its last Big East game, as they're joining the ACC next year.

Of the ACC bubble teams, I would say that GTech is in no matter what. NC State should be in if they beat FSU this afternoon. VTech will have to beat GTech to give themselves a chance. Miami will have to beat Duke (good luck).

Raycom/ JP SPorts ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Syndicated Television Schedule

The stations included in this listing will be the only carriers of the ACC Men?s Basketball Tournament in their respective markets.

Please note that even though the ACC Tournament will be airing on ESPN and ESPN2, the ESPN and ESPN2 broadcasts will be blacked out in these markets where we have a local TV station covering the event. The ESPN telecasts will mainly be available outside of the ACC region and wherever we do not have local coverage inside the ACC footprint.

Please also note that ESPN and ESPN2 may be advertising in the markets that they are televising the tournament. However, the blackouts will still apply where Raycom/JP has local coverage.

now we gotta take care of bidness on Friday

Maryland is toast, nice choke job by them today.

And Florida State is just awesome. :plain

N.C. St. beats FSU 70-54.

So now they move on to take on Wake Forest who will not have Chris Paul. Should be a good game.

kind of funny that Maryland lost being that Gary Williams has complained for years about the tourney always being in North Carolina right in all the Tobacco Road teams' backyard. He finally got it in his backyard and lost to Clemson of all teams.

I actually have a lot of respect for Gary but I think the tourney belongs right here in Greensboro where the league was born.

i cant believe they lost that f***ing game. i cant f***ing believe it. they f***ing had it for God's sakes. s***! :banghead :banghead
