The best thing ever was when he hit that 40 foot shot to send a game into overtime in December of 2002.

March 14, 200521 yr I remember listening to that game coming back from spring training in Florida. That game was a "godsend" in passing away some time.

Casey Sanders was about the only other one who played, and we all know about his success.. :plain Ewing was the only member of that recruiting class... Duke struck out on David Lee and some others in that class.

He wrote me a hand written letter after his accident after I sent him a few notes...great person and probably the only player that will get their jersey retired at Duke after just three years.
March 15, 200521 yr This year's Carolina team reminds me a lot of that 2002 Duke team actually in terms of all the great players and future pro's the team had. Oh, and it's terrible what happened to Jason Williams, he's one of the few players that I really liked even when he was at Duke, and he really seemed like a nice kid. And of course the fact that he was on the Bulls made it even a bit harder to swallow.
