I know everybody thinks i'm a Maggs hater or whatever, but this guy is going to get hurt again. 711264[/snapback] I agree that they need another outfielder as security. Whether or not that will be a big name (Cameron) or not is another story. No one is expecting Curtis Granderson to be the starter once the season starts, but if the Tigers don't bring in a guy like Mike Cameron, Curtis is going to have to learn the major leagues quicker than expected. I would say somewhere around the all-star break.

But teams did start figuring out the bunts. If he would've played the whole season there is no way his avg would have been over .300

If he would've played the whole season there is no way his avg would have been over .300 711312[/snapback] Wouldnt his leg injury slow him down and result in less bunt hits, I believe patience can improve easier than any other hitting category. Instead of getting the hitting coach to improve that, maybe get him some extra defensive help, he has the speed, and the guy hit .322 last year and hes only 28, IMO you don't release guys like that, and as for SB, he stole 52 bases in 2003, his PCT was .68 which isnt awsome but youll take it with 52... No one really thinks Pierres SB were a problem in 2004 with 45 SB and 24 CS, but in 2003 Sanchez had 52 SB and 24 CS, he shouldnt of been released, just worked on alittle bit more...
