Posted March 22, 200520 yr I found this painting. I'm posting the link to the painting and not the picture itself because I'm not sure if it's against the TOS or not. It's art, so I don't think it's objectionable, but if it is, could a mod just delete it. Anyhow, I found this painting and I found something that seems wrong with it. Or maybe it's just me. Just curious if anyone else notices. Ask if you need a hint. Liberty
March 22, 200520 yr Author Lol. I hadn't notice that drastic error. Actually, I was refering to something else, and it wasn't the woman.

March 22, 200520 yr Author Ok, I'll spill. Is it just me, and it probably is, or does there appear to be a modern city in the background.
March 22, 200520 yr ummmm....that's the French Revolution. They didn't live in caves then. The stuff was pretty modern.
March 22, 200520 yr Author Ok, I feel foolish now. I'm gonna pretend that wasn't what I was talking about and that I was talking about the french winning the whole time.

March 23, 200520 yr I'll have to go with Fritz on this one. There's no way the French could be winning a war, even it was against the French.
March 23, 200520 yr The French winning is accurate, since it was the French Revolution. The city is fine, industrialization was one of the reasons they revolted (that and the royalty). The only thing I find wrong is that the lady has no nipples.
