Biggie had the smoothest flow of any rapper in history.

Biggie

Not only did he have the smoothest flow, but unbelievable lyrics. Unlike other rappers, he made up his rhymes on the spot instead of writing them down beforehand. In fact, Juicy may be the greatest (at least one of the greatest) rap songs of all time. However, Pac is a very close second.

OutKast.

These two guys are the most creative, artistic rappers of all time. And I'm not talking about that garbage last album that won the grammys.

Unlike Biggie, 2Pac had probably the best rapping voice ever, plus 2

Pac could act, and was 10x more charismatic and controversial out of the recording studio...

I agree with the fact that Pac had a great rapping voice, but Biggie had a great voice as well. In terms of controversy, it's hard for anybody to match what Pac did out of the studio. However, you have to remember that he was with Death Row in 1995-96, the most notorious record label arguably of all time, so you knew he was going to get publicity. Biggie got into his share of trouble as well.

In terms of acting, BIG actually starred in a New York TV show (can't remember the name), though I can't argue with the fact that Tupac was a great actor. In terms of rapping, BIG was the better pure rapper. And if you want to talk about disses, Brooklyn's Finest, in my mind, is right up there with Hit 'em Up.

Agreed, great debate!.

Hey rapping and battling are too different things

On the same token, what does rapping have to do with acting? Both were great, it's really just a personal preference.

Pac

I go with Tupac because he was dead, and then wasn't, and then was dead again or something like that.

Biggie

Pac, by far. Far better lyricist.

Tupac. Though I prefer other music before him, I recognize hes a legend, more than Biggie anyways. In my opinion.

Chuck D was better than either of them....but since he is alive, he has not reached the messianic status bestowed on 2pac.

Biggie by far...songs are better and also i liked him better,2pac is to much of a thug

lol.. you havnt heard any of his interviews have you, to realize why he's a thug and how much he works to get out of that thug life (The label Thug Life actually had nothing to do with being a thug, just a political statement meaning The-Hate-you-gave-little-infants-f***-everyone)

Biggie was the greateast story teller ever in hiphop.

Pac went to some private prep school. Pac was all act.

He lived with a crackhead mother in New York City and Marine City CAL, prep school boy my ass, he was inlisted in a close to free arts school in an attempt to get out... And if he is an act that puts him over Biggie for acting soo damn good anyway...

Pac, by far. Far better lyricist.
