July 22, 200322 yr Will all you kids just relax! The big crowds this weekend were caused by (1) weekend baseball; (2) Cubs in town and Sosa draws; (3) All-Star Break created a buzz. When you put those all together you get a large walk-up. Watch the attendance spike up again this weekend against Philadelphia in a crucial series with Wild Card implications. Plus, remember last year when only 4,000 to 5,000 would be at a Marlins-Expos game. I think 10,000 is a marked improvement.
July 22, 200322 yr Guys, calm down. 10,000 is not that bad. We lost two games big time and it was raining. This is just one more reason for a new ballpark with a roof.
July 22, 200322 yr Saturday was an amazing game... Penny and Wood gave me my moneys worth. Actually they gave me more than my moneys worth (I snuck to the 20th row RIGHT behind the plate)!
