Aaron Heilman for Cy Young

The Marlins make lots of guys look like Cy Youngs. This isn't new. Look at last year...

Nothing has changed, the blind optimism and inconsistent offense is back.

And Bill Robinson needs to go.

You guys said it all, we'll win this division and make the playoffs when they can score runs on a regular basis.

This guy gets none of the credit and all of the blame. Can we think for two seconds that the players aren't all that great?

Most, if not all, of the lineup has seen their averages, ba and/or obp, go up while under the toolage of Bill Robinson. He can't go hit the ball for the guys. This is turning the biggest cop out ever, no one complained in 2003 about Bill.

they could use some help from the umpire behind the plate tonight, some of these called strikes are just downright insulting.

Saying he has nothing to do with it and it's only the players fault sounds like a cop out to me. :plain

I am not saying he isn't partially to blame, but he shouldn't get all of it, especially when he gets none of the credit. He led two teams to the WS, did he forget how to coach overnight between 2003 and 2004?

What happend between 2003 and 2004? Lost a couple of the guys with the best averages and obp on the team.

We have a lineup capable of 800 runs.

To say the players aren't that great is crazy. Most of our position players are highly regarded baseball players.

Are you serious? Are you really fukcing serious?

DELGADO!?!?!?!

CABRERA!?!?!?!

LOWELL !?!?!?!

PIERRE !?!?!?!

CASTILLO !?!?!?!

Please.

2003 was two years ago.

We have one of the best lineups in baseball on paper, every single one of our starting 1-8 has the ability to perform at the plate and it's Bill Robinsons job to make sure they perform and stick to fundamentals. When we have pitchers like Aaron Heilman dominating us on a regular basis, something is wrong.

If a pitching staff that has loads of talent performs like crap, the pitching coach gets fire. Look at how Mark Wiley turned around our pitching staff, just imagine what a new hitting coach that is hand picked by McKeon could do to our offense.

By who the same people that picked the Marlins to finish 3rd and 4th in the division the last 3 or 4 years? Yeah they MUST be right. I mean Pablo Ozuna was only rated the 5th best prospect in the entire minors 5 years ago or so! :lol

he needed to go last year, too.

You are the ones who say the players are great, awesome, etc. etc.

When did the offense peak? When we had Pudge and D-Lee in the lineup, they are no longer there. And the offense struggles. Aside from those two, everyone is still the same. Same hitting coach, etc.

So let me ask you, what changed?
