Flag Man
Tomorrow's excitement for me is the Marlins pitchers. Will Moehler go seven innings and get that big leg-up on (so sad) Valdez (who we never had great confidence in.) Will he just go a few innings and give our stagnating bull-pen some over-due work? If so, who among them will get that "leg-up" on the others? A lot of competition but, thus far, little chance to excell. With the sticks finally coming alive, the #5 spot can provide excellent opportunity for the Pen hostages. How's that for positive thinking? PBMarlin
Moehler has been doing very well. We should stick with him while Valdez gets a few minor league starts and perhaps a few appearances from the pen before going back to the rotation. And if Moehler continues to perform, then keep him at #5.
FishFan24
You give Moehler the starts until Valdez comes back. And then you have to give Valdez a few starts to see if you want to stick with him or not, I mean he was brought in here to be the 5th starter. If he struggles, then go back to Moehler and make Valdez the emergency starter position.
MarlinFan10
Moehler hasn't showm any reason to take him out of the #5 role yet.
MarlinsContinueTo ShowDomi
You'll probably see Smith come out of the pen at some point tomorrow.
Shaq-Man
moehler's been pretty good so far, but i can't imagine him pitching past the sixth inning considering the short leash jack has been giving him. i'm guessing he'll go five innings--maybe five & some change or six, tops. FutureGM
We should use Moehler until Valdez comes back from injury.
marlinsfan75
I think Moehler has been doing awesome. Even when he gave up the two homers to Wash he probably should of gotten the win if we could give him some more help. I was a fan of Valdez when he was in LA but his stuff is obviously not the same. I say leave Moehler in as the 5th until he shows definite signs that he doesn't have it. Joe
Accord
I think he'll throw a solid 6 innings with 4 K's while giving up 2 ER.
Malman
I think we should pitch Valdez at home and Moehler on the road. :whistle

TSwift25
It'll probably go Moehler to Smith to Bump if there's trouble, but Moehler's out there until the 6th if he pitches like he has previously. I have no complaints with the way he's pitched so far (remembering he's our #5) so to try to drastically overhaul what we've got going is unnecessary... I would expect him to stay this low, but if he can manager to keep it in the 3's there's no way Jack should put him back into the pen.
