If Francona was having his players purposely throw at players to show em up or to get the other team mad, and someone said that he heard a member of the Red Sox complain about it, It would be justified and possibly open up the eyes and ears of the fans about their manager. I HATE throwing at players, pitchers in the AL grow testicles because they dont have to come up to bat. Something needs to be done about it, and I think the precedent has been set now on suspensions. As I have said before, when a 90 mph pitch is coming at a batter's head they have 0.4 seconds to react to it. If the D-Rays were so tough, why didnt they strike out Manny or Papi and sweep us? Instead they went through childish tactics which started by Lou. I also think a team/manager needs to be called out that is threatening an opposing teams because of who they are, because they are the defending champs, and are using hitting superstars to try and light a fire under their players. This isnt the response you want, but it is what I feel.
