July 28, 200323 yr What interesting things have happened in Marlins games that you've attended. I have not been able to attend many because I live 3+ hrs away, but I've seen some cool things. -Devon White hit a grandslam against the Orioles in 97 (first year of interleague play) -Mike Redmond's inside-the-park HR against the Astros (I think 2 years ago). -Cal Ripken tribute (2 years ago too I believe). -Burnett vs. Maddux last season. Great pitchers duel with the Marlins winning 2-1. It was also throwback unis. (Marlins look good in Orange and Blue!). -Dontrelle Willis 7 IP 0 ER against A's (this season, before a bunch of the D-Train hooplah). -Dontrelle Willis vs. Horacio Ramirez pitchers duel. Rafael Furcal with the 13th inning HR off of Almanza to win it. What about yall's?

July 28, 200323 yr Author some cool games marlins2266....at the Orioles game I went to in 97, I was there for the end of batting practice, and Bobby Bonilla hit one that rolled to the wall. I was in the RF seats, and Livan was out in the field. He picked it up and tossed it into the stands and I got it. I still got that ball!
July 28, 200323 yr All this happened in one game i went to in miami in the summer maybe 3 years ago... - lady 3 rows in front of me gets a foul ball right in the chest, you hear her scream and the meds come to check on her, he he, it was funny, she was fine -it was against the reds and Griffey made an unbelivable diving catch -i forget who was pitching, but Michael tucker gets hit and he starts crying like a little b*tch and tries to act all tough as he steps a few feet towards the mound, i ragged on him big time -the benches cleared as the reds retaliated, it wasnt big, but there was some shoving and definite tension.. -after all i said and done...its the 9th inning and we are tied with the reds...i forget the score, but all i know was the mike lowell hit a walk off blast to end the game and the crowd erupted, there was a lot of energy even though the marlins werent really in the race at the time....it was a great game, the best i've ever been to
