Posted June 24, 200519 yr 5. Miguel Cabrera, Florida Marlins Cabrera is still just 22 years old. He hit 33 home runs at the age of 21. Yes, the sky is the limit for this kid. He's at the front end of the learning curve, and he's a quick learner. He has a calm and yet refreshing personality and approach to the game. He handled the World Series in 2003 like he was a 20-year veteran. He still must gain patience at the plate to increase his walks a bit, so he won't need as many hits to win the batting title. He has MVP talent and just needs to gain experience. The Marlins have Carlos Delgado, who can serve as nice protection for Cabrera in the lineup to ensure he gets strikes to hit. And when he gets a strike, he can hit it a long way. link
