one-run games

Well, the Marlins finally won a one-run game despite the completely ineffective offense, improving our record in one-run games to 8-14.

Also, with tremendous starting pitching on this roadtrip we managed a 7-5 record.

Yeah, they suck.

Im glad they won a one run game finally. This is something they being struggling on, and they have to drastically improve on this because they wont always get a blow out. How many times have we seeing them win a blow out and then loose by one or two runs the next? Feels good to finally be on the winning side of a really close game for once.

Guys, does it matter how many runs we win by? I mean sure I wouldn't mind seeing us just completely destroy a teams ERA one day by putting up 20+ but if you win by 1 or 25 it doesn't matter. (A win be a win)

We need to even out this stat. We also need to hit better at the end with the game on the line. We can turn this season around if we improve in those two areas.

Our pitching has been strong. We are hitting for average. We just need to start hitting in key situations.
