June 30, 200521 yr A local Philadelphia news station reports that the Raiders have offered Jerry Porter in a possible trade for Terrell Owens. Randy Moss and Owens on the same team? Apparently Kerry Collins sold his soul to the devil. The Eagles are reportedly willing to listen to offers, and this is a good one considering Porter's reasonable contract. At this point, most major news organizations aren't carrying the story, so it's accuracy is hard to gauge. Jun. 30 - 1:40 pm et Source: ABC Local news
June 30, 200521 yr I can see this deal happening if the Raiders add a 2nd round pick to it. TO/Moss Holy s***
July 1, 200521 yr It might be scary but they need some D to win games. If Porter gets traded, and Moss decides to go back to #84. :lol at everyone who bought his #18 jersey.
July 1, 200521 yr You have to give it to Al Davis. The team that is dominating the league right now is about as team oriented as you can get. Yet, he continues to move in the opposite direction. As for The Eagles, this would be a great move. You ship the tumor off to another conference and pick up a nice WR who could be much better with the like of Donovan Mcnabb. They don't lose THAT much production wise and they make The Philadelphia locker room a much nicer place to be.
July 1, 200521 yr the dropoff of headaches and distractions from Owens to Porter is significant 834443 That's what you meant I assume...
July 1, 200521 yr Owens is a much more proven and productive player, Porter is much less of a crybaby and whiner. For all his headaches and problems this offseason, TO was the biggest reason they won anything last year, a great teammate, and his play in the Super Bowl was the thing legends are made of. Then again, any move that gets TO out of the NFC East is fine with me.
July 1, 200521 yr No way that works. Both would bitch about not gettin the ball enough and not being the go-to guy.
July 1, 200521 yr lol! That would be a train wreck waiting to happen. 833723 Exactly. I don't think Oakland could handle those two egos.
July 1, 200521 yr the dropoff of headaches and distractions from Owens to Porter is significant 834443 That's what you meant I assume... 834452 no I mean what I said originally Owens is a premiere talent, no one can stop him(but Roy Williams).... Porter isnt on that level yet

July 1, 200521 yr TO won't be guaranteed to play for the Eagles anyways....I just don't see him coming back.....he's gone this far....
July 1, 200521 yr You guys are crazy if you think that Moss and Owens can co-exist. Their egos wouldn't be able to fit in the same locker room.
July 1, 200521 yr you could see that when they interviewed Moss on Cold Soup......Moss couldnt even answer questions about TO civily.
