You think getting on base 10 straight times is what teams like the Yankees or Orioles are looking at? Do you guys think that you're so smart that you can see that he slumps and then does well and then slumps again, but they can't see that? Just because he's doing well right now doesn't mean his value is high. It's one thing to joke about it when he knocks a homerun, but to be serious about trading him right now and then believing you're gonna get more for him than you would have a week ago? Encarnacion Close and Late .241 Lowell Close and Late .105 It really isn't reasonable to compare Lowell to Encarnacion thus far in the season.

That's true....except I'd like to think it's just about impossible to get enough value for Cabrera's potential, and I would like to see Gonzo and Castillo stay together for their career as Marlins middle infield.....but that's me. everybody else is possibly available. . And nobody, including Enc, gets traded unless it brings back better value for the team. Beinfest has a good record with these things. . .
