Enough with the Mr. Marlin sentimental crap. I love Mr. Marlin. but I love to see the team win more. With that said, I've been an Encarnacion supporter all year. But if we can sell high and help the team now, I'm all for moving him. With that said, this is the scenarios that make sense, IMHO. - No need to trade him for a middle reliever, unless we are talking about a blue chip reliever (Closer, or lights out setup man). Mota is coming around, and Mota has a track record already and I think he will continue to be reliable. We are set on setup relieving and closer. - Trade him if you can package Mike Lowell's contract. there, I said it. That money could be used to close the gap on the stadium, or signing some of our young players. Miguel could be an adequate defensive 3rd base man. Lowell is hurting the team too much. - Trade him for an adequate starter that could help this team NOW (Redman type talent) and then move AJ for a RF replacement. Even if you have to package prospects. If he is not traded, no biggie. He should be able to put a similar 2003 season. 20+ HR, with 90+ RBIs, .270 AVG. I'm totally fine with him on the RF
