Now that Leiter has been designated for assignment...what's next?

 

I think it's too hopeful to think that Robinson'll be axed. Any trade will likely involve a hitter that we can keep for next year regardless of our situation this year (meaning no rent-a-player), but for that to happen, Lowell would need to be moved or benched.

I'd rather have Gonzalez hit .280 with 8 homers than .240 with 20 homers.

Alex has been great this year. You cant depend alot from Alex offensively, but he has been good. Not his fault the offense is bad. It's Mike's.

You might want to look at the team's stats leading off innings and getting on base early in innings before you start complaining about our batters not driving in that guy on first base with 2 outs.
