July 28, 200520 yr The 18-year-old right-hander was 1-1 with a 2.00 ERA in 6 starts with the Baby Fish. He struck out 26 batters and walked just 4 in 27 innings of work. Very strong numbers. scouts view 874250[/snapback] :lol and he gets paid?

August 6, 200520 yr Thompson gets second Win for GCL Fish 5IP 6H 2ER 0BB 4K also saw new LHP Avi Rasowsky from George Washington Univ. He pitched 5.1 shutout innings for the GCL Marlins Friday until the bottom of the 11th when he gave up a walk-off homer to the Nats. I think the Scouts found him at the Independant league tryouts. 5.1 IP 4H 1ER(HR) 0BB 6K Nice outing! :thumbup I found this on him: http://gwsports.collegesports.com/sports/m...wsky_avi00.html
August 15, 200520 yr Yeah, that AVI RASOWKSY kid is pretty good, huh? And he's a southpaw! How long do ya think it'll be before he's up there in the majors? simonsnowlock8@yahoo.com
August 15, 200520 yr dont think any of these five will see the majors for 2 years. But, others could tell you better individually. I just view we have a ton of pitching so why rush?
August 17, 200520 yr interesting point, though with regard to AVI RASOWSKY lhp from gwu in particular, I had heard that he was recently bumped up 2 divisions within the minors... that must mean that the higher-ups think he shows some promise, to bump him up that fast, am I right? simonsnowlock8@yahoo.com

They had a roster space open due to somebody moving to "AA" for one start. He is already back with the Gulf Coast League Marlins in rookie ball. They still might see promise in him but dont read into this too much.
August 27, 200520 yr interesting, I was not aware of the fact that AVI RASOWSKY was only there for 2 days in the high A JUPITER, how did you find that out so fast? I would love to see more of these FL Marlins minor games, but I'm pretty far away from the area. Keep me posted... simonsnowlock8

Major league baseball has tons of flaws already--why would you want to watch a lower-level league?
September 5, 200520 yr I recently heard that AVI RASOWSKY, was moved up to A and is now pitching in Jamestown, NY. Anyone know more about this?
