Democratic Hopefuls:

well lets see....

Reagan supplied weapons to the Middle East, namely one Mr. Hussein.

Reagan also supplied many Latin American nations with weapons and training.

This was all done in the name of the American way and in a way to spend as much money as possible, creating a larger and larger debt each year.

Communism would of collapsed on its own.

And the debt is really helped by Welfare and Social Security right?

Hmm, he gave weapons to those in the Middle East to squash the most powerful enemy in the history of man. Lesser of two evils, and if he doesn't do it we might still be in the Cold War because the Soviets would never have been kicked out of Afghanistan. From Afghanistan they would have attacked Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, and Israel. Would you want that?

Oh, and by the way. Congress has power of the purse, the president can do nothing without Congress' ok. Both the House and the Senate were controll by Democrats during Reagan's whole administration. So techinically, it is your fault :D .

I recall Greenspan being appointed in the 80s.

I believe there are six year terms for the FED chairman.

At least once during his term a Republican has reappointed him.

If he sucked so much, they should of looked for another person to run the nation's bank.

Because he is a brilliant economist...with an agenda. He is the best out there, but he tries to help Democrats all he can. Republicans have always had to put him on a leash and make him do his job for the good of the country.

Rune,

Bush doesn't go by what is popular, he does what he believes is right. When are you liberals going to learn that? Polls change day by day, beliefs rare if ever change. Maybe you should be worrying that in Florida, many people won't even vote for graham, our most popular politician ever, and vote for bush instead. we have more electoral votes than Pennsylvania.

If Polls mean nothing why has your man spent record amounts of money on focus groups and polling.

Oh wait now your going to go against facts and totally contradict yourself by saying that Bush is unbeatable because his approval rating.

You truly belive everything that comes out of your parties mouth instead of thinking for yourself?

I supported neither in THe 2000 elections, If JM would have won and it was against Gore, I would have supported JM.

Also you still have yet to address Bush being a total a**hole by disrespecting Sharon when at PC a week ago by giggling when he was talking in hebrew.

Another thing don't say that you were just about to say that because you never had that on your mind. Juanky posted a great reply and of course "You stole the words out of my mouth"

Das, What about The Tax Cut that went to paying Bills in this country? Bush a man who say's supports The Troops yet take's away money that could be used to raise their pay checks. He also know has to face the facts that Iraqi Oil is not going to pay for The War.

How is it my fault?

I didnt elect those people.

And I am not Democrat.

Nice of people to once again assume I am one thing when I am not.

I claim no political party and I will critize both parties when warranted.

You are an independent

Sure, you are in the middle right? Ha, you are a liberal, plain and simple! You never criticize the Dems here on the boards, but you criticize Conservatives.

Cape why don't you stop judging people and putting words in other nights?

Let me guess I'm a racist because I think Buchanan is a smart man.

I'm a conservative.....I wasn't very in favor of the war, but for a reason that most others probably wouldn't have, so drop the war thing already.

Cause I ain't calling you for any free reading.

He may take polls and use focus groups, but it doesn't mean it's going to change how he is going to go about things Rune.

I didn't say Bush is unbeatbale because of his approval rating. I think Bush is unbeatable because he is the middle ground compared to all the Democratic hopefuls.

You don't know what he was laughing at. Someone in the gathering could have been doing something he giigled over.

Juanky said exactly what I was going to say. When I hit the post topic button, I saw his post and it was like Juanky was reading my mind.

Tax Cut is not going to affect our troop's pay. If a soldier joined our military for the money, that would have been a bad choice based on the money motive. Iraqi Oil will have to pay for the war, reconstruction, and future economy.

Al Gore was not a liberal.

Neither was Bill Clinton.

 Damn, if they ain't liberal, then what are they? Socialists?

The Democratic and Republican parties are not that different.

Quote of the night! :lolup

As for Gore and Clinton being conservative democrats, what planet are you on? They are not conservative, don't tell me they share my beliefs because they don't. They may seem conservative to you liberals, but they ain't conservative.

The closest thing to a conservative the Democrats have is Bob Graham.

Iraqi Oil has already been leaked by your goverment that it will not pay for The War and Iraq's rebuilding nor will it help our economy. One Billion a week is not exactly cheapp and of course Bush will say that we knew this was coming.

You know what Bush, When Congress voted you told Congress that their was going to be a coalition but you said Screw it my vengence is more important so don't give your BS about how we knew this was coming.

Also you say taking away Tax Money, Money that is used to pay for War's is supporting The Troops and in the best interest. Well why has THe Economy continued to falter as Unemployment rates continue to sky rocket.

Have you seen THe Poles. The Poles you say that mean nothing but your boy loves to use... 8 out of 10 Americans care about making more jobs something Bush has failed to do.

The American Public is going to wait around for Bush to get it right in 2007 they want results now, Results your boy can not produce.

Rune,

Don't Call President Bush "my boy." I do not know him personally, and he is not "my boy."

Das Texan,

The Democrats don't have a party agenda, but Republicans do. The RNC website has all of the party's postions proudly posted on their website.

Um, did you read my earlier post?

The POLLS (poles refers to the North and South Pole, don't think that is what you are talking about) say that 8 out of 10 Americans want to create new jobs. Honestly what do you expect them to do? You want 8 out of 10 Americans to say lets slash more jobs? Of course they are going to say create more jobs because all the American public knows how to do is react on extremes. And I want to know what those other two said, because you'd figure a stupid question like this would be 10 out of 10.

Of course the American wants results now, because the American public has negative patience. They don't want to wait and they want to blame it all on one person because that is the easy thing to do. When the reality is that sure, Bush is partly at fault, but in no way is all blamed directed to him. The government is way too big, wasting money on stupid programs. Most of the different sectors of private industry is still in the gutter, and there is no way to throw a quick fix at that except maybe give consumers more money and increase the flow in the cycle that way. Its been tried, it'll show positive results eventually. But again, fiscal policy takes 6-8 years to fully take effect.

Rune,

Ok fine I won't call him your boy now get back to what I said before and support Bush.

Das Texan,

Both parties have an official agenda, usually updated at the next convention. Das is eluding to the fact that not everyone follows them.

Sorry I misspelled something

Actually creating more jobs has never been this high in U.S. History.

The American Public is tired of hearing how good times are coming while more and more people are losing jobs and our economy and money value continues to shrink.

Also Bush say's that it's only going to take 18 months for The Economy to take shape yet he does not have 18 months.

Have you watched the news lately?

Government leaks mean nada. Believe me, there are leaks for every point of view and on every topic.

We have coalition. Tell the soldiers who are in Iraq from Britain, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and many more countries who are dieing there that this war

is unilateral.

Also Bush say's that it's only going to take 18 months for The Economy to take shape yet he does not have 18 months. Well, I said that cuz I needed to start the post somewhere :D

Bush thinking the economy will turn around in 18 months is wrong, but then again is the American general public really intelligent enough to know he is wrong? No.

And Das, I could care less about McCain. I consider myself Republican, next June I'm going to write Republican on my voter's card, but most people say I am Liberetarian (sp).....if he wants to call himself a republican thats him.....well I have work tomorrow so I'm going to sleep, but I can go on here during work so expect answers around 9 or so :D
