Keep my friends in your thoughts

One of my male friends who is 18 is going for his second ACL surgery in the last two years.. He got clipped bad while playing football at his high school. Another one of my friends(that Amber Archuleta chick) got hurt bad while playing in a pickup game last night. I was there, she messed up her knee pretty bad. She can't put any pressure on it and can't bend it. She blew it out last year too when she was suppose to play Varsity and this year she was slated to play on varsity and be a starter. She is going to the doctor today to see what is wrong. She is gonna text me as soon as she finds out. I'm hoping it's just a pulled muscle. She is not a wimp so since she can't even walk on it without screaming I know it is bad. Keep them in your thoughts please..

Thanks.

I always have a soft spot for people who have suffered knee injuries because I suffered a very severe one myself where I tore my ACL and PCL.

If it is really bad the ammount of work your friend will have to put in will be streneous, trying and hard....I put quite alot of sweat and tears into my knee in the past 2 years.

Hopefully your friend gets a good surgeon and a sports medicine specialist that knows what they are doing so that they do not have to go through multiple surgeries to clean up a previous doctor's mistakes like I did.

I hope your friends recover soon and keep their heads up.

I have always had a strange fear of knee injuries. I'm afraid that if i put my leg up on a chair, some random person is gonna come up and jump on my knee and bend it the wrong way...I also worry about falling and having my kneecap sliding up when it hits (hapened to a teacher back in 3rd grade). As for the ACL, I have come close to that injury a number of times, but luckily, I havn't had any major problems.

I hope your friends will get well soon though!
