I have no confidence in this guy whatsoever. We should release or trade him and bring a real reliever aboard. It seems he just never gets the job done. Package him, another minor league pitcher (Bazardo), and perhaps a mid-level hitting prospect for a good reliever (if that's enough for one).

He's only been decent in mop-up since being called back from the minors.

I agree he's got to go.

 

When (if) Bump returns this year, he fits the role of long reliever quite well.

i had high expectations for riedling coming into the spring and he has just let everybody down this season.get well soon nate we need riedling out.

We could have just put Ish in his role, but never mind that.
