August 12, 200323 yr Soriano by a mile. And, incidentally, his d at 2b is pretty good for a SS... :mischief Incidentally, Soriano's .250 ba is the direct result of a busted hand. "As he heals, you'll see his wheels, and love his steals, cuz he's the REAL deal!" :hat
August 17, 200323 yr You know what Castillo can do. He gets on base a lot, and when he gets on he's hard to stop. He is a big reason for our contention.
August 18, 200323 yr Soriano. He is probably in the top 10 players in the majors. i love that .276ba with the 63rbi he really needs to adjust
August 19, 200323 yr Luis Rivas what? Luis Rivas is half the player of most on that list. Bret Boone is the man this year, but if I'd have to choose a guy for more than a season, it would be Soriano (no brainer). He has his best seasons ahead of him and is a vladimir guerrero at 2nd base, playing for 700k. That about says it all.
August 19, 200323 yr i love that .276ba with the 63rbi he really needs to adjust why dont you mention he has 24 homers and is a leadoff with 63 RBI.. and hes what like 25 sbs or something last time I checked? How old is he again? The guy will be a 40-40 man real soon, I think you need to give him more credit. Its not trouble adjusting, its just a slump... you know, the thing every player goes through? does the name pudge ring a bell?
August 19, 200323 yr yea, Pudge slumped in a new league for about a month Soriano has hit .250 since May 1st.... is that a slump? in April, he hit .370 with 9hr and 25rbi(im counting that 1 game in March) May:.229 7hr 14rbi June:.268 5hr 9rbi July:.240 3hr 11rbi August(17 team games):.246 1hr 6rbi Houston, we have a problem
August 19, 200323 yr im not saying i wouldnt take him... just that he is really slumping/struggling right now, and something is wrong
