August 18, 200520 yr Hopefully he goes down to AAA and starts tearing things up again, although I still believe he has to rebuild strength in his arm first. Now that he's off the DL, with Olsen out of the picture, Willingham potentially could be a good piece of trade bait to secure another piece of the puzzle before the August deadline. Speaking of Albuquerque, Dillon is absolutely on fire (.359, 22HR), and Eric Reed (previous trade bait) is back in the lineup. Riedling is doing well down there as is Cloontz, so we may be seeing some more roster movement before the deadline as well.

My point was Ramp, that he does represent a tradeable commodity to a rebuilding team that A) wouldn't weaken the team as it exists today and B) may have enough value to fetch a needed piece. You shouldn't read what I wrote in this post or my previous one as being gungho to trade the guy, but being a realist, I believe he may be moved for the betterment of him and the teams chances in 2005.
