August 18, 200521 yr I recently received a package from the Marlins encouraging me to reorder season tickets for next season. It also contained a letter from David Samson that said , ?when you remain a season ticket holder, you will continue to maintain priority in our new stadium. We hope to have great news about our future home very soon.? It could just be a sales pitch, but he did not have to mention the ?very soon? part if it weren?t true. We?ll see soon enough, I guess.
August 18, 200521 yr I would love it but even if they started to build tomorrow it wont be ready till 2008-2009. If they make the playoffs this year, they will get a stadium, watch.

What makes you think that just making the playoffs this year will get it done? Making the playoffs won't close the $$ gap that's holding it up.

Would be nice of course, But i think this is going to be a long ass process. I tell ya tho, If i was rich as hell and a Marlins fan i would offer to give the remaining money to get it built and get an ownership percentage of the team lmao.
