I just ...*gulp*... bought Dolphins season tickets

Featured Replies

I was just browsing the Dolphins website last night at 2am and figured i'd look at the season tickets page just for the hell of it with no intentions of buying, then I saw how incredibly cheap season tickets were in pretty damn good seats (upper deck, sidelines right around the 40 yard line). I don't ship off for a while so i've got plenty of time for the upcoming NFL season. Made the phone call today and it was a done deal.

There's two kinds of Marlins fans, those who love the Marlins and hate the Fins and those who love both (and let's not forger the bandwagoners, but I won't get into that :mischief ), I guess I was one of the former up until recently.

I've always kind of followed the Dolphins, just never really been a big fan of them or liked them. I started following them when I moved to weston and Ed Perry was actually my neighbor. He lived a few houses down from me in a modest 3 bedroom 1 story ranch house, he was a really nice guy and I used to walk his golden retriever for him. He lived with his girlfriend, but I guess now they're married with a baby. I moved out of Weston around 2002 so i'm not sure if he still lives there or not.

Hey man welcometo the evil group of us that love the Fish and the Fins.

Seriously though yeah you can get some great tickets. i am off to just a 4 game pack (pats, jets, and two others that I forget off the top of my head).

But it is normally pretty much always worth it.

One down side is that the games are all at 1 pm in the afternoon, so on the upper deck, you are going to FRY! :) But, you can work on your tan at least.

I love the dolphins games and the fish games too. Never hurts to go to either.

I wish I had the luxury of browsing a sport team site that I only casually follow and like and then make an impulse season ticket purchase....

First what is INCREDIBLY cheap?

Second, I thought you hated football, atleast that is what you said whenever I bashed Hockey.

Third, Dolphins games kick ass.

$620 for full season tickets in damn good seats, that's pretty cheap for what you get.

I don't hate football, was just saying that to piss off all :thumbup .

Yeah, i've been to a few, they're fun.

Well, when you put it that way :plain :plain :mischief

I'm making a significant downgrade in my Marlins season tickets though, so i'm just putting that money towards the Phins tix, wouldn't have been able to buy them otherwise.

At least it'll be a little cooler during the winter.

You were probably better off just getting tickets to the teams you want to see. Come november you probably wont want to go see the dolphins.

What you should have done is just get tickets to a few games early on, and when they start doing bad you could get them on ebay for less than face value. Last year I got tickets to the patriots monday night game for 20 dollars each on ebay. The week after when they played cleveland they were going for 10 each, but there was no way I was going to that
