August 11, 200322 yr OK, college football is my second favorite sport, but I'll save my rants and just give a quick comment on each team as I pass. SEC: Champ: Auburn- very nice team they've been building there Sleeper: Miss- Eli Manning = Big Year ACC: Champ: NC State- Chuck Amato is going to be a demi-god there soon Sleeper: People underestimate the job Al Groh (sp) is doing there Big East: Champ: My Miami Fricking Hurricanes, please son (bite me frontrunners, I'm actually working there as I type this) Sleeper: Syracuse- Always a tough play for UM and Va Tech, this could be one of those years for them Big 10: Champs: Michigan- OSU is missing their star on the ball, and U-M will look for revenge and blood this year Sleeper: Minnesota- a long fav underdog of mine, they play hard everytime and have a nice O Big XII: Champ: OU- no arguements here Sleeper: Mizzou- they don't have the best talent, but they'll shock a team or two Pac 10: Champ: Washington- Cody Pickett might be the best QB in the nation not named Manning Sleeper: USC- not much of a sleeper after last year, but they lost a bit of players. Look for the frosh and sophs to step it up this year Champs- UM over Auburn in the NT game, 31-10 Undefeated Teams- UM, Auburn goes into their bowl undefeated Heisman Finalists- Manning (MISS), Pickett (UW), Frank Gore (UM), USC's Soph WR (whose name is on the tip of my tongue), and Chris Rix (FSU) Upset of the year- OU, needing just 5 more minutes to head for a chance at the crystal, falls to Texas Tech on the road at the end of the year.
August 11, 200322 yr Author Chris Rix will not be invited to the Downtown Athletic Club. He will have a few mistake games, and that is all thats needed to keep you out of the running (i.e. Grossman last year). Manning, I think is overrated...I think he is the worst of the Mannings...but, this is his senior year, and if Carson Palmer can make such a turnaround his senior year, then Manning most definitely can. Frank Gore will have a good chance. I dont think you can rule Casey Clausen out. The Pickle is still at UT, and with them being loaded at RB, it should make passing a little beat easier for him. Unfortunately for him, he isn't at the same level as Peyton was, and Peyton didnt even win it. Like always, a RB out of nowhere will step up. I'm thinkin maybe a sleeper is VT's Kevin Jones.
August 12, 200322 yr syracuse? are you kidding? 2nd worst recruiting class in the big least no o, no d, nothing minnesota? no way, wisconsin will be there all year, they are my pick iowa will shock again. cant you at least give credit to PITT? there gonna give miami a run for thier money all year, could win remember, pitt was a TD away from bieng BE champs
August 13, 200322 yr All i know is that UM is the s*** and they are goin all the way...i dont see the gators or the seminoles, in fact..they both suck a big one
August 13, 200322 yr I will only do the Big 10, because I feel like it.... 1. Ohio State (they were just flat out better then the Canes, regardless of what you may say, but they weren't as good as Iowa) 2. Iowa (these guys are good, they really deserved the Big 10 Title and were the best team in the Country last year) 3. Michigan 4. Wisconsin (my Badgers! One of the 5 Best RB's in the Country with Anthony Davis and one of the Best WR's in Lee Evans, the offense is fine, and Head Coach Barry Alvarez always has our defense ready and good, plus we only lost 6 players from our Top 25 team last year!) 5. Minnesota (young team like wisconsin, and they believe they have their best team in over 20 years, and I believe they do to, but tough luck for them that they have OS, Iowa, Mich, and Wis, in their way) 6. Purdue 7. Penn St. (OVERRATED, OVERRATED, OVERRATED) 8. Michigan St. (see my reason for #7 ^^^) 9. Illinois 10. Indiana 11. Northwestern

Northwestern OSU was great last year, and played a great game against UM but they were saved by that interference call.
August 13, 200322 yr I could really care less what happened last year. What I care about is how my Badgers do! On Wisconsin! On Wisconsin! On Wisconsin! March through Minnesota.... ooops sorry.
August 13, 200322 yr Well I will say they shocked the sh*t out of me when they beat Wisconsin and Sconsin had it locked up! :angry
