August 10, 200322 yr Who do you think will win each of the major conferences? National Championship? SEC: Florida :shifty ACC: NC State Big East: Miami Big 10: Ohio State Big XII: Oklahoma St. :shifty Pac 10: ehhh, dont know much west coast...I'll go with USC National Championship: Oklahoma St. vs. NC State in the game of the underdogs....NC State wins :shifty
August 10, 200322 yr SEC- Ole Miss ACC- Florida State Big East- Miami Big 10- Michigan Big 12- Nebraska (Homer pick) Pac 10- Oregon State Championship Nebraska vs Miami Nebraska wins 56-0 on the legs of Tommie Frazier
August 10, 200322 yr SEC: Florida :unsure : ACC: NC State :shifty Big East: Miami :cool :whistle Big 10: Michigan :thumbup Big XII: Oklahoma :plain Pac 10: USC  National Championship: Miami vs Oklahoma. But Miami Wins it 21-17
August 10, 200322 yr Indiana was a close 11th oh ok.... SEC- Ol Rocky Top(Tenn) ACC- Florida State Big East- Miami Big 10- Purdue(Indiana a very close 2nd....) Big 12- Oklahoma Pac 10- Arizona State
August 10, 200322 yr Author I really think this is the year that FSU does not win the ACC. I see either NC State or UVA takin it. Miami really doesnt have much competition in the Big East...but if I were to have to pick someone else to win the Big Easy, I would have to skip over VaTech and go with Pitt. They will be another suprise team, and should worry Cane fans. SEC: really up in the air. The Gators beat themselves, and should have been in the SECCG last year...they went undefeated in their division, but got destroyed by LSU (at home no less...dangit), and beat themselves against Ole Miss. I think the winner could go to any of UF, UGA, UT, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn (they dont have to play UF this year), LSU, or Alabama (if they are not on probation...but I think they are). As for Pac10...ehh who cares lol. Big 12, Oklahoma has a great shot, as does Texas, (and even Nebraska slappy!). But I really think OSU will put it together. Should make for a great game in November when the Sooners play the Cowboys. Big 10...ehhh who cares lol. If not Ohio State, I'd go with the Hoosiers for ramps sake.
August 10, 200322 yr SEC- auburn- #6 in thre nation, returning starters everywhere, great recruiting class, and the CADILLAC IS BACK ACC- Virginia surprise team of the year, nuff said Big East- Pitt going out on a limb, but fitzgerald will make big plays at heinz agaisnt the canes, beat them, and both teams will go undefeated in conference play after that. Big 10- Wisconsin with no MO in columbus, best team in the midwest Big 12- Oklahoma, easy pick, #1 overral, number 1 D Pac 10- Washington- 2 words, cody pickett CUSA- TCU SUN BELT-North texas
August 10, 200322 yr Big 10: Michigan SEC: could it be Georgia's year? Big East: Miami Pac 10: USC Big 12: Oklahoma ACC: its hard to see anyone other than FSU take it, but its possible. 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl: Miami vs. Oklahoma, canes take the title back. this is what i hope will happen, i cant get over how we were robbed last year, i would love to get another crack at OSU :banghead
August 10, 200322 yr I really think this is the year that FSU does not win the ACC. Maryland took it a couple of years ago
August 11, 200322 yr Author Maryland took it a couple of years ago well, if we are gonna get picky... SEC: could it be Georgia's year? It was Georgia's year last year. lol...i forgot about MD's season in 2001...I guess it was because they were so overmatched in the Orange Bowl in Spurrier's last game with UF. That and the fact that FSU beat em bad that year. Anyway, I do think FSU has gotten substantially weaker, and NC State is really expecting a lot this season. And UVA had a good year last year with a bunch of young 'uns playin...i seriously could see FSU not making a January bowl...(unfortunately, there's just as much of a chance that the Gators dont make a Jan. bowl too...but at least the Gator fans travel well enough that bowl committees will pick the Gators to go to a bigger bowl, because they will make more money...i.e. Outback Bowl against Michigan).
August 11, 200322 yr Seminoles take ACC crown, Canes take Big East Crown (for last time ever), and Gators take SEC crown. I see all three losing their bowl games unless they face one another which is unlikely.
August 11, 200322 yr who's starting at QB for UF this year? i heard but im not sure that it was going to be their freshman QB, the most highly recruited high school senior. whats his name? Leak or something like that
August 11, 200322 yr chris leak he wont start its going to be martin they wont win the SEC will win 8-9 games tops
August 11, 200322 yr Author SEC is wide open. Gators got as good a chance as anyone....Ingle Martin is the favorite, and in most cases I dont see a true freshman QB starting at QB for an SEC school...but apparently Leak and Midgett are both miles ahead of normal true freshmen....I mean, remember, Peyton Manning was a true freshman starter....but I think it will be Martin... I expect Ingle to start, Leak to be #2, Dickey #3, and Midgett to redshirt...but from what I hear, Midgett really believes he can be better than Leak....and I dont doubt him....remember the last #1 QB in the nation to come to UF? Yah, Miami fans know him...Brock Berlin...yah, he got beat out by the best QB from Indiana (Rex Grossman). Rex was no slouch in college, but was not the #1 H.S. QB.

Brock who? thank God we were able to get him, with him at QB we could keep this run going, although i think Crudup could do the job if they gave it to him. but with the news he made this spring, there will be a lot of pressure on him if something happens to Berlin. i forgot where i heard the thing about Leak's possibility at starting, i think it mightve been espn.com but im not sure
August 11, 200322 yr berlin is over rated he knew he had no chance at uf, is raining qbs in gainesville miami has no d-line, qb is questionable wrs will need 2 step up they better watch out with pitt slap you went to nebraska?
August 11, 200322 yr SUN BELT-North texas Wow....someone who has actually heard of the sun belt conference... :o
August 11, 200322 yr berlin is over rated he knew he had no chance at uf, is raining qbs in gainesville miami has no d-line, qb is questionable wrs will need 2 step up they better watch out with pitt slap you went to nebraska? youre right about the d-line other than Wilfork. i think parrish will step up big and so will Beard as long as he recovers from knee surgery, we all know about Winslow. hopefully the young guys can do. Gore from what i hear looks good, hopefully he'll be back to his old self. the secondary is back intact and the linebackers look strong with Vilma and Williams. hopefully the D-line can perform like the secondary did last year when they werent thought to perform as well as they did
August 11, 200322 yr ah s***... you see what happens? wildcard are you taking notes? i mention Parrish, and now i heard that he had an MRI done and they dont know the extent of the injury. i couldnt hear what body part it was, but s***.
August 11, 200322 yr Author Im a fan of the Sun Belt....especially Middle Tennessee State. Dwone Hicks was a bad*ss. Also, I visited the school, and actually thought about going there and walking on. I decided to go with Furman instead. Just imagine...my username could be MTSUGator, or BlueRaiderGator (sounds better off the tongue, but more typing involved).

I don't go to Nebraska. I have been a big fan though for my whole life. Can't wait till College Football starts. I will be attending UH this year.
