I don't care if they've got that Spike deal, you have to start making money sometime and they're not even close. August 25, 200521 yr Wow, that would be a big step for TNA signing someone of note who isn't actually washed up or fired from the wwe. Either way, if he did sign I'd be willing to bet it's because it would allow him more time to invest in his music which he wants to do.

Upon embarking on his hiatus, Jericho made it clear to Vince McMahon that he had no intentions of signing with TNA. Thus, if Jericho were to go back on his word, he would burn a serious bridge with WWE and risk having the door closed on a possible return (at least in terms of being a main-event performer). Because Jericho cannot be sure TNA will be a stable, long-term alternative job source, the negatives seem to outweigh the positives for the gamble that is TNA. With that in mind, it's not as if Jericho has given TNA a great deal of consideration. While the possibility is always open, the wrestler has not expressed anything that could be perceived as a desire to join the company. But, what if he does? In that case, WWE officials are still not worried, as they do not believe a promotion can be built around Chris Jericho. WWE is very high on Jericho, but the feeling is that he's not nearly big enough a star to single-handedly take a promotion to war with WWE. Dixie Carter their owner has absolutely refused to give Jarret another title run leading to a dispute between her and Jeff Jarret Sr and Double J. Not to mention Scott D'amore has been an awesome booker, much better than Dusty and Scott and Jericho are good friends.

I want to like the guy, but he hasn't done anything new or original for a loooooong, long, long time. He's stale. In ring and on mic. Hopefully when he's ready return he does and he can get the fires going again.

In update to the Chris Jericho story, the graphic of him standing under TNA's logo is now gone from his website. In its place is a list of his upcoming appearances. For those curious, he will be in Australia with Fozzy from September 4 through 10. He then has a Fozzy tour of the UK scheduled from October 12 to October 24. This means that if he wanted to be at the first TNA taping on Spike TV, he would be available. Fightnews.com is reporting that Booker T will be at ringside for a fight card in Houston tonight. Booker is a fan of USA Olympian Vanes Martiroysan, who will be fighting on the card.

August 28, 200521 yr Author --Chris Jericho caused a lot of commotion yesterday. There was a graphic of him under a TNA banner on his web site (www.chrisjericho.com), which has since been taken down. I don't know anything officially other than the general belief was he was just playing with everyone, but that could be wrong. The only thing I know is as of Tuesday he had no plans to do any pro wrestling anywhere nor work for anyone but WWE when he came back, and that TNA would love to have him if it was possible.
