Something that happend so little last year that it should be top news this year.

 

The good news of the game

 

1. O-line looked good with the first team actually. Which is a great thing to see.

2. Ricky ran the ball well.

3. Boston looked good out there.

4. first team defense looked good and solid out there. They played very well and put up good stops at big times. Talyor specially looked good 2 sacks with FF

5. Chowder, Carey, Roth, Moore, Pope, even Wright all looked good. Go youngins

 

 

downsides

1. Turk got hurt (even though other kid did pretty good)

2. thomas didnt get to play (but isnt a serious injury)

3. brown fumbled the ball but ran okay

4. Gus looked blah and feely alright so another debate over QB starter

5. Too many turn overs still by this team.

The Bucs played awful!

Dolphins would have had at least 2 more TD's if Gus hadn't overthrown Brian Gilmore and then David Boston by about 10 yards when they were each well past the defense. On the plus side, those opportunities were there and Ferrotte recognized them, which is a lot more than we could say for the past 5 years or so. I'm sure we'll connect on some of those.

 

Definitely the best we've seen the offense look this preseason. Still too many drops. Chambers and Booker both had awful nights with at least 4 drops between them. McMichael looked a lot better. Boston will be a weapon this year if he can stay healthy.

 

Donald Lee finally caught a ball, and then followed that up with a holding penalty and a dropped 20 yard pass on the next two plays. I think he's as good as cut.

I was there tonight, my first Dolphins game in like 2 years, was a good time. They removed EVERY single thing in the stadium that even remotely had to do with the Marlins.

Good to see Mr. Roth get an INT. Amazing that Erasmus James, David Pollack and Marcus Spears went so far ahead of him.
