August 30, 200521 yr For what though? One of the local papers (I forget which) mentioned the problem is the players that cleared waivers on the interested teams aren't too appealing and they aren't looking to move him for prospects.

I'd like to see Shoppach come back, otherwise deal him to someone else for bullpen help. There has to demenad for him, he's the best pitcher available and lots of teams need pitching help.

August 30, 200521 yr if the mets get youkilis it would be a steal.. But they wouldnt have anywhere to play him. They need a 1st or a catcher badly.
August 30, 200521 yr Author Millar would be terrible fit for Mets. Park is too big for him and with his offensive struggles (nevermind his craptacular defense), he'd be a waste for Mets.
