i got to say this game is it so far. i know some will say the Boston game with Mikes game winner. but this game had everything: close (and bad calls), emotion, drama, and playoff implications which the Boston game was missing. it was great

Boston was great because it was kinda personal after they ran the score up,but this is for the wild card lead which is huge.

My game of the year is Dontrelle vs Randy so far, only because of the atmosphere with all the people. This was a close second. What a fun game in the stadium today!

I'll have to agree with Juanky on this, but yesterday's game was great as well, definitely ranks in the top 3 games of the season so far.

man who knows? there have been so many unbelievable moments already this season i'm losing count. how about the Mike Mordecai walk-off homer! These moments just keep happening again and again.

 

As great as I feel for Castro, I've gotta give the bullpen all the credit for last night. After Beckett obviously didn't have it, they come in and just shut everything down. 7 scoreless innings, the last 6 innings not allowing a single hit. That my friends is dominant. (little nod to LA's pen which was very good too)

Hey, you guys can't forget Juan Pierre's walk off single down the first base line against Armando Benitez

This was such a great game because:

 

A) it was for the Wild Card lead (I mean, we still have a long way to go, but...)

B) it was extra innings

C) we had two or three such obvious calls go against us

D) it was a game after Dontrelle pitched horribly

 

 

Definately ranks up there with Mordy's homer and the Boston game this year.

My game of the year so far is Marlins vs Mets.. Juan Pierre hit the walk off single all the way to RF fence , next game was yesterday's , and last was D-Train vs Big Unit

The Willis win over Randy Johnson on ESPN was by far the most important game of the year, in my opinion.

Well, if you think about it, if we wouldn't have won any of the other games, we probably wouldn't be in first place in the Wild Card.
