FIUMarlinfan
35-21, basically lost this game in the 4th. While K-State had some turnovers, the D shut down the run in the first half, got pressure on the qb, and created some turnovers. Padrick played great, and Williams and Smith did well. The o-line was excellent all day. Im convinced we can make noise in the SBC this season and we WILL upset one of those big name schools in the coming years.Amzing to think 4 years ago we were scrimmaging in tamiami park, now we are playing d1 wih facilities and a stadium opening up in a few years. GO Panthers!
Maxx
Not a bad showing by our guys, we have Texas Tech next week, I hope we come out ready for it.
fauowls44
Good job keeping it close! Both FIU and FAU had respectable showings (FAU lost 30-19 to KU). I think both schools will be very competitive in the Sun Belt this year. By the way, if you are a college football fan you should come out to Dolphins Stadium on Thrusday night for FAU vs. Oklahoma State. Nationally televised game....should be a fun night. Go Owls! Maxx
FAU did a much better job than I thought they would. FIU and FAU both have their hands full this week, good luck on thursday.

Guest Juanky
So, back to reality, it sucks we have to wait until the first weekend of October for the Home Opener.

Next year we host Bowling Green for our first game, hope their QB decides to go onto the draft after this season.
FIUMarlinfan
Im almost sure he will. Hell be for SURE, at least the 2nd qb taken, and possibly first. He laso doesnt have the star status that Lienart has, so I doubt hell have as much temptation as Matt to stick around. I guarantee we beat of those big name schools we face in the next 2 years. Some good stuff there, check out the fan's reaction in the background (#34 jersey) when we pulled within 7 in the 3rd quarter:
