September 14, 200520 yr Author i wouldnt say we are f***ed. remember he is pitching through an injury. that alone could hinder his performance. if i wasnt a Marlins fan i would be rooting hard for Roger tonight even tho im not a huge fan of his after what he did in 2003. bottom line is we need to push all things aside and play this game just like it was last nights game.
September 14, 200520 yr RIP, Bess. I feel for Roger right now. Sounds like his mom had a lot of balls and loved him a lot - she basically raised him on her own.
September 14, 200520 yr Sounds like his mom had a lot of balls I think you could have phrased that a better way... lol
September 14, 200520 yr Sounds like his mom had a lot of balls I think you could have phrased that a better way... lol 945275 :lol But you know what I meant. She's got a lot of guts.
September 14, 200520 yr It is going to be very difficult for Roger to concentrate, particularly when off the field. Sure he is strong, and likely will have a good performance. But one can only imagine all his emotions will come out once he leaves the field and has some time to himself. My thoughts and prayers go out to Roger and his family.
September 14, 200520 yr Damn, I know how much it meant to him for his mom to be at his HOF induction. I hope AJ comes out with just as much fire as Roger does.
September 14, 200520 yr Damn, the Marlins are f***ed tonight... 945111 that was my reaction too...Marlins have to get to him early
September 15, 200520 yr The Houston announcers said that Roger's mom actually said to him this morning that she wanted him to pitch tonight. We're in deep trouble.
