Anybody watching the last week would agree with me I think... In all reality, the Marlins SHOULD have won their last six games... there's no excuse why they didn't besides just choking...
September 24, 200520 yr As usual from the typical South Florida sports fan, if a writer, announcer, etc. isn't sucking up to the team and saying they're the best ever, then that media person is an idiot, etc. The truth hurts, and the Marlins are one of the biggest dissapointments in MLB in 2005, and have not played up to their capability. A team built to win it all shouldn't be hovering around the .500 mark all season and fighting to stay afloat at this time of year. Like it has been mentioned before, stop the homerism!
September 24, 200520 yr Juan Pierre (possibly the best lead off man in the n.league) Lo Duca (possibly the best catcher in the n.league) Cabrera (nothing short of phenomenal) Delgado (needs no intro) Luis Castillo and A.Gon (possible the best men up the middle in all of baseball) Mike Lowell ( possibly the best 3rd base man in the n.league) Dontrelle. If that isn't the biggest disappointment in baseball, I don't know what is ! Yep. If either the Yanks or Sox miss the playoffs, they are much bigger disappointments than the Marlins.

September 24, 200520 yr Carlos Delgado could possibly finish with 120+ RBIs, and Miguel already has 100 RBIs. In an offense that can't score runs. Todd Jones will most likely finish with a sub-1.50 ERA, and among the league leaders in saves. In a bullpen that can't hold leads. Dontrelle Willis could possibly lead the league in wins. In a starting staff that left much to be desired at times. This team is easily the biggest disappointment of this year, and possibly of this decade (2001 on).
