i really dont care about fielding percentage. this infield gets it done and its one the best infields in baseball. thats what matters, i really dont care whether we're a few points behind some one in any category, the standings is the only category i care about. im satisfied with the teams infield

i'm sorry if my post came across you as trying to show you how much better my team is than yours, that wasn't the intention. Capefish thinks the the Marlins have the most solid infield in the major leagues, i merely wanted to point out stats, that at least one team is better, that being the phillies. -PhillieRed

we'll see in a month......... :shifty

Welcome to the boards. You obviously pay attention to details and not the fluff that tends to fly through here a lot ......*cough*13 yr olds*cough*

thanks for sharing the stats though, I had no idea the Phils ranked that high. The Marlins infield may not have the highest percentage but they make the hard plays look easy. If web gems were nickels, we could buy our new stadium

Castillo might be a good choice to keep...but the price is not worth it. We're looking at $5-7 million for him. I'd go with Urbina, because a good reliever can make a great difference. Another thing that isn't in Castillo's favor is his sudden drop in speed. He's getting caught alot, or maybe it's just me. I did see it happen in tonight's game.

nope, its not just you. His deceleration will definately hurt his value imo. He's got a great glove, solid contact hitter, and speed.......oh wait.....................
