September 28, 200521 yr Television network FSN Florida said it will broadcast 70 Florida Panthers games during the 2005-2006 NHL season. The first telecast will be the Panthers' opening game, at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 5, against the Atlanta Thrashers at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise. FSN Florida, based in Sunrise, said it will be the only Florida television outlet to carry Panthers games. The Panthers have an 82-game schedule. Some games not televised on FSN Florida might be carried by national cable channels, which are still arranging their schedules. 2 games not carried by FSN have already been picked up by OLN and we're guaranteed at least 1 game on NBC.
