If the Marlins make the playoffs

Featured Replies

I think if the Marlins make the playoffs they have a great chance to win the World Series.Think about it. If we make the playoffs we can have Mark Redman go out there for the first game of the DS. After Mark Redman pitches we will send D-Train out to the hill, and after him I would hope to see Beckett. We can also use Penny, or chose to stick with a 3 man rotation. I, personally, would use a 4 man rotation, and I wouldn't give Pavano the ball for a game unless Redman or D-Train gets hurt. The only problem would be if we faced the Astros. Everybody's going to be tough in the postseason, but I can't see us playing worse against the Giants than we do against the Astros. I would rather play the Braves than the 'Stros or SF, but unfortunately that will not happen until the CS. I will remain optimistic about the Marlins reaching the WS until it is proven otherwise!

Go Fish!

Just getting there would be awesome, but I agree Nielsosky, I like our chances if (when ;) ) we do get in. It'll be big if the Stros don't make it though. Those games w/ them have blown.
