September 30, 200521 yr Yesterday I was going through my old yearbook from Elementary school and there were about 4 people with Marlins shirts just in my class.. and even more in the whole school. I saw alot in the 1992 yearbook. I thought this was pretty cool.. we had alot of Marlins fans in Coral Springs in the early/mid 90's Pointless post but has anyone here ever looked in their yearbooks and saw people with Marlins shirts on? Wearing Marlins shirts was like the cool thing to do.
September 30, 200521 yr I used to have a Marlins shirt, because they did their spring training like 10 minutes from my house.
September 30, 200521 yr My Junior High Yearbook from 96 in the back it has the section of what you want as your last wish or w/e those wacky people called it and it says for me "The Florida Marlins baseball team" :mischief and I was talking to someone who I had class with back then (93-96) and hadn't talked to in a long time and the one of the first things they said was "You wore Marlins shirts every day right?" Should've wore it for the yearbook photo, damnit!

September 30, 200521 yr Ah. So then how did you become a Marlins fan? Everyone asks me that and I never have a good answer, I was a Mutts fan (yeah I know) until the fish came around and I immediately became "hooked" on the fish. I don't remember what happened but I assume I liked the logo and/or the colors and it made me look at the team more and being pretty obsessed with it. Afterall "Marlins Online" the first very early and very basic version of this site (with no forum of course) was on the internet on my personal account back then.
October 1, 200521 yr My Sophomore High School Yearbook has a page on the Marlins winning the 2003 World Series. :shifty
