The Dodgers and manager Jim Tracy have "mutually agreed to part ways," the club announced tonight.

Tracy went 427-383 in his five years as the Dodgers' manager and he doesn't deserve all that much of the blame for the team's problems this season, but it became obvious that he and GM Paul DePodesta weren't always seeing eye to eye and the Dodgers need a manager who is more in tune with the organizational philosophy. Tracy shouldn't have much difficulty finding work. We wouldn't be surprised to see him end up replacing Jack McKeon in Florida. Oct. 3 - 11:13 pm et

Maybe he'd be a good option if Lou decides to sign elsewhere.

No way. Hate the guy's style of managing, and he's way too buddy-buddy with the players.

I dont like him either.

I like him. He is a good manager for pitchers and young players.

I don't have a problem with him, but I think there are more qualified candidates available.

I'm a fan of his but I'd really like to see the Marlins go in a different direction

Say no to Tracy!
